 The described incident involving Richarlison, Hugo Ekitike, and Dominik Szoboszlai occurred during the Tottenham vs Liverpool Premier League match on December 20, 2025.  After scoring a goal in the 83rd minute to make the score 1-2, Richarlison became involved in two separate altercations:  He got on top of Hugo Ekitike in the goalmouth and pushed his neck into the ground while retrieving the ball. He then ran to Dominik Szoboszlai and engaged in a staring competition with him for no apparent reason before being separated by teammates.  The highly dramatic match ended with a 2-1 victory for Liverpool, as Tottenham finished with nine men after two red cards.
