Liverpool want Rennes centre back Jérémy Jacquet this January to solve their defensive troubles, according to reports in France 🔥


Liverpool have reportedly made 20-year-old Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet their number-one defensive target as they prepare for life potentially without Ibrahima Konate, whose contract expires in the summer of 2026.


Sources in France have confirmed that the Reds have sent scouts to watch the highly-rated French youth international on multiple occasions this season, with every report returning the same glowing verdict: Jacquet possesses rare qualities that mark him out as a future elite defender.
